Alpha Sliding Doors Warranty Terms

Limited labor warranty and pass-through manufacturer parts coverage on sliding door, pocket door, and window repair work performed in 13 Florida counties. Read the full terms below before scheduling service.

QUICK ANSWER

Alpha Sliding Doors warrants its labor for 1 year from the date of completed service. Parts are covered separately under each part’s manufacturer warranty — the specific term varies by part type and manufacturer, and is provided in writing on your service invoice at the time of repair. To file a claim, call 772-210-4955 and reference your invoice number.

How Alpha’s warranty works

The Alpha warranty has two distinct layers: a 1-year limited labor warranty issued directly by Alpha Sliding Doors & Windows Repair, and a pass-through manufacturer parts warranty that varies by component and brand. These are separate. Each is documented on your service invoice. Each has its own claim process, exclusions, and effective term — outlined in detail below.

This warranty applies only to repair, replacement, and installation work performed by Alpha technicians at addresses within our 13-county Florida service area, on invoices that have been paid in full and remain in good standing.

SECTION 1 · WARRANTY COVERAGE

Two-layer warranty: labor and parts

LABOR · 1 YEAR

Limited Labor Warranty

Alpha Sliding Doors & Windows Repair warrants the workmanship of its repair, installation, and replacement services to be free from defects in labor for a period of one (1) year from the date of completed service, subject to the exclusions in Section 3.

Covers: defective workmanship, improper installation, incorrect part fitting, and labor-related failures during the warranty period.

Remedy: at Alpha’s reasonable discretion — re-perform the labor at no additional cost, or refund the labor portion of the original invoice. This is the sole and exclusive remedy.

PARTS · VARIES

Manufacturer Parts Warranty

Replacement parts are covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty. The term varies by part type and brand — typically 1 to 5 years, but exact coverage depends on the specific component (rollers, locks, glass, balance springs, weatherstripping, etc.) and the manufacturer (PGT, CGI, Andersen, Pella, Marvin, Fleetwood, Milgard, JELD-WEN, Simonton, Western Window Systems, or generic OEM-spec replacements).

The specific parts warranty applicable to your repair is documented in writing on your service invoice and explained verbally by your technician at the time of service.

Alpha is not the warrantor of the parts themselves. Alpha will assist you in submitting parts warranty claims to the original manufacturer at no additional cost during the labor warranty period.

How to file a warranty claim

To file a warranty claim, follow these steps. Claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period and supported by the original service invoice.

1

Locate Your Invoice

Find your original Alpha service invoice. The invoice number, service date, and parts list are required to validate any warranty claim.

2

Call Your Regional Office

Call the regional dispatch number from your invoice. State your invoice number and describe the issue. Claims must be reported within the applicable warranty period.

3

Inspection Visit

An Alpha technician will visit the property to inspect the reported issue. Inspection visits are scheduled within 5 business days for active warranty claims.

4

Determination

Alpha determines, in its reasonable judgment, whether the issue falls under the labor warranty, the manufacturer parts warranty, or is excluded under Section 2.

5

Remedy

If covered: Alpha re-performs the labor or processes the manufacturer parts claim. If excluded: Alpha provides a written estimate for any non-warranty repair work.

6

All warranty work is documented on a new invoice marked “Warranty Service — No Charge.” Keep this with your original invoice for your records.

SECTION 5 · LEGAL TERMS

Disclaimers and limitations

5.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Alpha Sliding Doors & Windows Repair’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the original service. Alpha shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages of any kind arising out of or related to its services, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, property damage, or business interruption.

5.2 Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

Except for the express limited labor warranty stated above, Alpha Sliding Doors disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by Florida Statute § 672.316 and applicable federal law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.). Some Florida consumer protections cannot be waived; nothing in this warranty limits any non-waivable right under Florida law.

5.3 Transferability

The labor warranty is transferable to a subsequent property owner within the original 1-year warranty period, provided that (a) the subsequent owner presents the original Alpha invoice, (b) the warranty period has not expired, and (c) no third-party work has been performed on the warranted component since the original service. Manufacturer parts warranties transfer per the original manufacturer’s terms.

5.4 Notice Requirement

Customer must notify Alpha of any warranty claim in writing or by phone within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect, and within the applicable warranty period. Failure to provide timely notice may void coverage.

5.5 Florida Law and Venue

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this warranty shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Indian River County, Florida, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

5.6 Force Majeure

Alpha is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, hurricanes, named tropical storms, floods, fires, civil unrest, governmental actions, supply-chain disruption, or pandemic-related restrictions.

5.7 Severability

If any provision of this warranty is held to be unenforceable under Florida law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

5.8 Entire Agreement

This document, together with the customer’s signed service invoice, constitutes the entire warranty agreement between Alpha Sliding Doors & Windows Repair and the customer. No verbal statement, advertisement, or representation by any Alpha employee, contractor, or representative shall modify these terms unless confirmed in writing and signed by an authorized Alpha representative.

5.9 Florida Consumer Rights Notice

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary under Florida law and federal law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer right under Florida Statutes Chapter 501 (Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act) or applicable federal law.

5.10 Statute of Limitations

Any legal action arising from this warranty must be commenced within four (4) years of the date the cause of action accrued, consistent with Florida Statute § 95.11(3)(k).

Last updated: April 2026. Alpha reserves the right to update warranty terms for new service invoices. Existing warranties remain governed by the terms in effect on the date of original service. The terms on the customer’s signed invoice control if there is any conflict with this web page.

SECTION 6 · FAQ

Common warranty questions

How long is the parts warranty on my repair?

Parts warranty length depends on the specific part and manufacturer. Roller assemblies, glass, balance springs, locks, and weatherstripping each carry different terms — typically 1 to 5 years. Your technician documents the specific term for each part on your service invoice and explains it at the time of service. There is no blanket “parts warranty period” that applies to all repairs.

How long is the labor warranty?

One (1) year from the date of completed service, subject to the exclusions in Section 2 and the limitations in Section 5.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?

Yes — the labor warranty transfers to the new homeowner within the original 1-year period, provided they have the original invoice and no third party has performed work on the repaired component. Manufacturer parts warranties transfer separately under each manufacturer’s terms.

What’s NOT covered?

Acts of nature (hurricanes, hail, lightning, salt-water intrusion), misuse, abuse, lack of maintenance, work by third parties after Alpha’s service, pre-existing structural damage, cosmetic issues that don’t affect function, and consequential damages. The full exclusions list is in Section 2.

Does the warranty cover hurricane damage?

No. Damage caused by hurricanes, named tropical storms, wind-borne debris, hail, or flooding is excluded under Section 2 and Section 5.6 (Force Majeure). Post-hurricane repairs are quoted separately. See our post-hurricane damage assessment guide for more.

What if I lost my invoice?

Call your regional dispatch number with the property address and approximate service date. Alpha keeps service records for at least four (4) years and can provide an invoice copy to support a warranty claim.

How fast will Alpha respond to a warranty claim?

Inspection visits for active warranty claims are scheduled within 5 business days of report. Emergency same-day inspection is available for security-affecting issues (door won’t lock or close) at the regional dispatch number.

Does Alpha warrant a specific repair to last “X” years?

No. Alpha warrants its labor for 1 year and provides pass-through manufacturer parts coverage for the manufacturer-stated term. Lifespan of a specific repair depends on usage, environment (especially Florida’s salt air, humidity, UV), and routine maintenance. We do not warrant a specific repair beyond the express terms stated in this document.

Need to file a warranty claim?

Have your invoice ready. Call your regional dispatch number — your claim is processed within 5 business days.
